    Our garden has been enjoying the great weather we have been having recently! We have to spend lunch times watering as we have had such little rain! Our chickens have enjoyed cooling off in the soil by digging holes for themselves!

      Today we went to New Covent Garden Market and we looked at different kinds of fruits & vegetables. There are so many different stalls to buy from. Shop keeps come from all over London to buy from the market.

     We thought we should have a topic where we could all report what we are doing on a daily/weekly/periodical basis, it serves as a record for everyone (even yourself) as to when you sowed, pricked out, potted on, planted, harvested, pruned...

    Fruit It's mainly a matter of ensuring that you get the crops rather than the birds. A  net is good for keeping the birds away. Strawberries plants this year have perform better in subsequent years .

    Dig up a plant and have a good look at the root structure. What does it look like, what is it for? What do plants need to live? Try growing a plant in the dark or without adding water and observe what happens. Try growing plants in different mediums...
